JOB SUMMARY:
The Welder cum Plumber will be responsible for performing welding and plumbing tasks to ensure the proper maintenance and functionality of the resort's infrastructure. This role involves repairing and installing pipes, fixtures, and fittings, as well as welding metal structures, equipment, and components.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in welding and plumbing, with hands-on expertise in both fields, preferably in a hospitality setting.
- Proven ability to work with welding equipment, tools, and materials, and the knowledge of plumbing systems (installation, maintenance, and repairs).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics for welding and plumbing work.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices related to welding and plumbing.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including heavy lifting, working in various weather conditions, and handling complex repairs.
- Knowledge of maintenance practices to ensure timely and quality completion of tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with team members, supervisors, and other departments.
- Ability to adapt to the unique needs of a hospitality environment, working flexibly and efficiently to ensure resort operations are uninterrupted.
