Production Supervisor

EAM Maliban Textiles Badulla (Pvt) Ltd. – Badulla Factory

We are looking for a dynamic individual with a passion for pursuing a career in the industry. The ideal candidate should be an energetic, team player with excellent communication, a proactive attitude, and the ability to be self-motivated and work independently to achieve tight deadlines.

Job Role

• Plan production schedules, implement and control.
• Review and make decisions about capacity utilization, material & machineries.
• Maintain and rationalized the employee carder according to the production schedules.
• Make sure effective and efficient line balancing with proper studies.
• Use appropriate tools to minimize the wastage and improve the productivity level of the production process.
• Responsible for up skilling and maintain a skilled workforce to meet the standards.
• Maintain a healthy relationship with all level of employees.
• Work with all the operations teams to achieve the set KPI's.

Individual Profile

• Degree/Diploma related to production/manufacturing or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar capacity.
• Age below 45 years.
• Preference will be given to candidates who has lean manufacturing exposure especially problem solving tools.
• Excellent communication & negotiation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills & work in a team based environment.
• Ability to lead make rational decision in a fast-paced environment.
