WE ARE HIRING
CUSTOMER SERVICE OFFICER
Our client, a newly established multinational company in Sri Lanka, is seeking an experienced and proactive Customer Service Officer to join their team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and co-ordinate various client accounts including handling customer orders, reviewing stock levels and monitoring outstanding payments from customers.
- Interact with customers throughout the order processing cycle and handle complaints related to bulk production.
- Communicate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and negotiate prices when necessary.
- Work closely with the Production Development, Production, Shipping, and Warehouse departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Handle inquiries from overseas sales offices, monitor stock levels, discuss forecasts with sales and overseas customer service teams, and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Collaborate with the product development team when taking over new client accounts and may handle small development projects directly.
- Communicate with overseas sales offices and/or directly with clients to ensure smooth account operations.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma or Degree in a related field.
- Minimum 2 years' relevant experience in MNC, preferably in the Trims/Textile/Garment industry.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Good command of spoken/written English, and strong problem-solving skills.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with customer service software.
- Well organized, self-motivated, positive mindset and ability to work under pressure.
- Experience in the Garment accessories, Trims and Packaging industries would also be advantageous.
- Immediate availability is preferred but not mandatory.
