ANALYST – ENTERPRISE RISK MANAGEMENT & POST TRADE SETTLEMENT (EXECUTIVE GRADE)

The CSE is seeking a competent and qualified professional who possesses experience in a similar capacity and is passionate to excel in the field of Enterprise Risk Management and Post Trade Settlement. The selected candidate will report to the Senior Vice President – Enterprise Risk Management and Post Trade Settlement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Development and implementation of enterprise risk management (ERM) policies and frameworks, ensuring alignment with industry standards.
  • Establishing comprehensive risk assessments, meticulously identifying vulnerabilities, and proposing actionable strategies that aligned with the organization's strategic goals.
  • Establishing Business Continuity Plans which ensures thorough risk assessments and business impact analyses, by identifying critical functions and resources, enabling the creation of tailored recovery strategies.
  • Ensure proper compilation of risk management reports, discussion papers and other reports by referring research analysis on market data, quantitative and statistical analysis and risk modelling.
  • Review of key risk areas, setting up Key Risk Indicators and aligning them suitably for organizational risk analysis.
  • Ensure securities and fund settlement by all Clearing Members on the settlement date and identify any shortfalls and take actions.
  • Attending to post-trade settlement issues in a timely manner, including the affirmation of trades and resolution of exceptions.
  • Oversee compliance of Clearing Members to the CSE Clearing House rules and take appropriate actions if in violation.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelors' degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Finance or an equivalent professional qualification from a recognized university or institute.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in Capital Markets, Finance or Risk Management.
  • Strong analytical skills & Presentation Skills.
  • Excellent command in English (Writing/Speaking).
  • Knowledge in Capital Markets & Enterprise Risk Management would be an added advantage.
