FACILITIES MANAGER

The Monarch Apartments, Colombo 3 is looking to recruit a Facilities Manager with an engineering background to manage the daily operations and maintenance of this luxury apartment complex.

Skills and Abilities

  • Sound Technical Knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical and Civil works found in high-rise buildings
  • Ability to supervise outsourced facilities management and other subcontract companies
  • Independently handle in-house projects and provide the necessary planning and implementation
  • Communication skills, including being very proficient in English
  • Budgeting and Management process
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, EXCEL and general IT Skills

Experience

It is expected that the candidate would have 5-10 years’ experience as a Facilities Manager or in the administration function of a large organization. Persons with senior level experience in the armed forces or hospitality sector would also be considered.

Location and Work Requirements

The selected individual should live within 45 minutes driving time from the apartment complex, be able to work independently without supervision, and be able to follow process and timely completion of job functions.
