Head of IT – Horizon Campus – Malabe/ Colombo
Horizon campus is a leading higher education provider, recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education in Sri Lanka as a non-state degree-awarding higher education institute located in Malabe. We are seeking an IT professional who can drive the Digital transformation and Innovation in the organization. The position sits on the Executive Management Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the digital transformation and innovation goals of the university.
- Oversee the management and optimization of the campus IT infrastructure.
- Provide leadership and implementation of various ERP systems such as CRM, LMS, SMS, etc.
- Ensure the security, privacy, and integrity of the University’s data and IT systems.
- Manage the overall IT budgets and Cloud infrastructure of the university.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 12 years in IT leadership, including 5+ years in a senior strategic role (preferably in higher education or large-scale enterprise).
- Proven expertise in IT strategy, infrastructure management, cybersecurity, and digital transformation.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies and trends, with a focus on solutions that enhance organizational performance.
- Knowledge of Cyber security appliance and network infrastructure management (Firewall, VLAN, Cloud Key AP and related technologies).
