ASSISTANT MANAGER - SUPPLY CHAIN
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our dynamic team as an Assistant Manager - Supply Chain. This key role will support the day-to-day operations of the supply chain department, ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials while optimizing efficiency and minimizing costs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the management and coordination of the end-to-end supply chain process, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics.
- Monitor raw material procurement, especially coconut and related inputs, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing.
- Monitor supply chain operations to ensure timely delivery and reduce delays.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve supply chain efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure the timely procurement of materials and products.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing holding costs.
- Monitor supplier performance and maintain effective relationships to ensure high levels of service.
- Participate in supply chain forecasting and demand planning to ensure inventory levels are aligned with business needs.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain function.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or procurement, preferably in food or agro-based manufacturing.
- Experience in handling agri-based raw materials, preferably coconut, is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
