Senior Marker Maker

Location: Dehiwala

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Marker Maker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in marker making, fabric optimization, and pattern layout in the apparel industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare efficient and accurate fabric markers for cutting based on production requirements.
• Ensure fabric utilization is optimized to minimize wastage.
• Collaborate with Pattern Makers, Cutting, and Planning teams to meet production deadlines.
• Maintain marker library and ensure accurate record-keeping.
• Work with CAD systems (such as Gerber, Lectra, or similar) for digital marker making.
• Review and verify patterns and consumption before final marker release.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and customer specifications.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in marker making in the apparel industry.
• Proficiency in CAD software (Gerber, Lectra, etc.).
• Strong understanding of fabric types and shrinkages.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Attention to detail and good communication skills.

Salary:

Negotiable based on experience
