ASSISTANT CIVIL ENGINEER

Janangana (Pvt) Ltd. is a well-established engineering and architectural consultancy based in Kandy. We provide end-to-end solutions for building and interior space design, and we are currently expanding our team.

We are seeking a dynamic and committed Assistant Civil Engineer to join our team for site supervision and technical management of residential building projects. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in supervising residential building construction, with interior construction experience considered an added advantage.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage the day-to-day progress of construction at multiple residential sites.
  • Provide technical guidance and supervision to ensure quality and timely execution of works.
  • Coordinate with the head office and obtain necessary support and documentation for project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with design specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
  • Manage communication between site and office staff to maintain seamless project delivery.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/HND or Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum 3 years’ hands-on experience in residential building construction.
  • Familiarity with site supervision, technical documentation, and project coordination.
  • Knowledge in interior construction is an added qualification.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Comfortable in working during the weekends.
