Electrical Engineer (Design & Estimation)
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed estimates for electrical panel board projects, including material takeoff, labor calculations, and pricing.
- Analyse project specifications, drawings, and other documents to ensure accurate estimates.
- Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical support and clarify customer requirements.
- Coordinating with consultant, clients, suppliers and internal team for project execution.
- Develop and maintain a database of costs, prices, and other relevant data.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards.
- Work closely with the production team to ensure that estimates are aligned with manufacturing capabilities.
- Identify opportunities and convert them into a sale.
Requirements
- BSc in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in estimation or a related field in the electrical industry.
- Proven experience with electrical panel board design and manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and estimation software (e.g., AccuLynx).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
