SENIOR EXECUTIVE SOCIAL COMPLIANCE AND IR

The Senior Executive Social Compliance & IR – HR Compliance will play a pivotal role in ensuring the organization's HR practices adhere to legal, regulatory, and internal policy requirements. This role will support the development, implementation, and monitoring of compliance frameworks to reduce risk, promote ethical behaviour, and ensure workforce alignment with corporate governance standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES & SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Ensure company HR policies, procedures, and practices comply with labour laws and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular compliance audits and support external audits related to labour, health & safety, and social accountability standards.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of statutory changes and proactively recommend updates to internal policies.
  • Support the organization’s compliance with global standards such as ISO, WRAP, SMETA and customer Code of Conduct requirements.
  • Coordinate training sessions and awareness programs for employees and HR compliance topics (e.g., grievance handling, anti-discrimination, workplace ethics, etc.).
  • Investigate compliance-related incidents and support appropriate corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and reports related to HR compliance matters.
  • Liaise with legal and external consultants on compliance issues as needed.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in HR governance and risk mitigation.
  • Maintain compliance with all internal and external EHS rules, regulations, and other Risk Management requirements.
  • Activity use the safety calendar (or contribute to the activities prescribed in the supervisor/manager’s calendar) as an accountability tool to measure safety performance and promote the development of a EHS culture.
  • Ensure that processes are delivering their intended outputs with complying to the ATL-QMS & responsible to implement, maintain & continuous development in relevant processes in accordance with ATL-QMS.
  • Make sure all the communications related given scope aligning with local and global, subordinates are aware of the plans targets and their dates of accomplishments IDs etc.
  • Give feedback to teams through effective communication methods.
  • Keep their management updated with the progress of achievements of planned targets and any deviations revisions of same continuously.

Required Qualifications

  • Qualification, Knowledge, and experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field. A postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
  • 3-5 years of experience in HR with a focus on compliance relations, or internal audit, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in a FMCG, or multinational environment preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of local and international compliance standards (local and international).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and timelines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with HR systems (HRIS, HIRS, Linked).
