Senior Lead Engineer - Cloud Transformation

Job Profile
- Architect the Future: Design and execute the roadmap for migrating our on-premise infrastructure to [AWS/Azure/GCP], prioritizing cloud-native services (Serverless, Containers, PaaS) over traditional IaaS.
- Lead the Charge: Serve as the technical authority and mentor for infrastructure and development teams, fostering a culture of DevOps, SRE, and continuous improvement.
- Automate Everything: Implement robust Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Pulumi, or Ansible to ensure environments are reproducible, secure, and easily managed.
- Master Cloud Economics: Partner with engineering and finance leadership to implement FinOps practices, ensuring our cloud architecture is heavily optimized for cost without sacrificing performance.
- Bake in Security: Design Zero Trust architectures and integrate automated security policies (DevSecOps) into our CI/CD pipelines.
- De-risk the Migration: Create highly resilient, fault-tolerant architectures, managing the complexities of hybrid-cloud networking during the transition phase.
- Battle Scars: Extensive experience leading complex, enterprise-scale migrations from on-premise data centers to public cloud environments.
- Architectural Mastery: Deep, hands-on expertise in at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and a strong understanding of modern compute paradigms (Kubernetes, Docker, Serverless).
- Automation Obsession: Proven track record of writing production-grade Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred) and building sophisticated CI/CD pipelines.
- Networking & Security Depth: Strong understanding of hybrid networking (Direct Connect/ExpressRoute, VPNs, BGP) and cloud-first security models (IAM, KMS, WAF).
- Leadership & Empathy: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams, translate complex technical concepts to business stakeholders, and mentor junior engineers.
Applicant's Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Information Technology / Computer Science as recognized by the University Grants Commission.
- Minimum 5 years in IT infrastructure, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in production cloud operations within a regulated industry (Banking or FinTech preferred).
- Certification in one of the below cloud technologies is required:
- AWS Certified SysOps Administrator or Solutions Architect (Professional).
- Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer.
- Huawei Certified ICT Professional (HCIP) - Cloud Service Solutions.
- Azure Administrator Associate / Security Engineer Associate / Solutions Architect Expert.
- VMware or Nutanix is advantageous.
- Certification of CKA/REDHAT OpenShift is advantageous.
- Excellent Project Management Skills and Strong Problem Solving Skills.
