As we strengthen our foundation and prepare for growth, we are seeking a visionary and performance-driven General Manager to lead the Great Wall Restaurant Chain into its next era of operational excellence, innovation, and sustainable expansion.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and oversee daily operations across all Great Wall restaurant outlets, ensuring smooth coordination between kitchen, service, cashiering, stock control, and outlet management.
- Maintain consistent food quality, service standards, hygiene, cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and overall outlet discipline across all locations.
- Develop and implement outlet-level strategies to improve sales performance, customer retention, service speed, cost control, and operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular outlet visits and audits covering kitchen efficiency, service flow, food preparation, stock control, hygiene standards, staff grooming, and front-of-house discipline.
- Review outlet performance, sales reports, P&L statements, food costs, labour costs, wastage, and operational expenses to improve profitability.
- Ensure full compliance with PHI, CAA, Excise, Fire & Safety, food safety, hygiene, and all other applicable restaurant and regulatory requirements.
- Support future expansion by identifying suitable locations, planning new outlet rollouts, coordinating operational setup, and ensuring consistency across all outlets.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 5–8 years of leadership experience in restaurant operations, hospitality, F&B management, or multi-outlet food service operations.
- At least 3 years of experience in a senior supervisory, outlet management, area management, or similar leadership role.
- Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage Management, Business Administration, or a related field; an MBA will be an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of restaurant workflows, kitchen and floor coordination, food quality control, inventory management, and customer engagement.
- Proven ability to manage multiple outlets while maintaining consistent food quality, service standards, hygiene, staff discipline, and operational efficiency.
- Strong knowledge of P&L management, food cost control, labour cost control, wastage reduction, inventory control, and profitability improvement.
- A hands-on, energetic, and commercially focused leader with strong communication, decision-making, people management, and problem-solving skills.
