SRI LANKA TOURISM DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY
Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA) is the government authority tasked with planning, development, regulation, and policy implementation of tourism and related industries. The tourism sector is identified as a critical contributor to the national economy for the future. The sector also attracts some of the highest foreign direct investments and high-profile investor projects to the country.
Vacancies
Applications are invited from qualified persons to fill the following vacancies existing in the organization.
- Director / Tourism Planning & Development — Category HM 1-1 — No. of Vacancy 01
- Assistant Director/ Software Engineering — Category MM 1-2 — No. of Vacancy 01
- Junior Manager/ Human Resources — Category JM 1-2 — No. of Vacancy 01
- Multi Duty Technician — Category PL 3 — No. of Vacancy 03
- Pump Operator — Category PL 2 — No. of Vacancy 02

- Applicants must download and complete the relevant application form for the respective position from the same webpage.
- All applicants must be citizens of Sri Lanka.
- Candidates must possess the physical and mental fitness necessary to perform the duties of the position efficiently and be willing to serve in any part of the country.
- The completed application form, together with certified copies of academic, professional, and vocational qualifications, proof of experience, with contact details of two non-related referees, should be sent by registered post on or before 03.07.2026 to: Chairman Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority No. 80, Galle Road, Colombo 03. Please indicate the position applied for on the top left-hand corner of the envelope.
- Applicants currently employed in Government Departments, State Corporations, or Statutory Boards must submit their applications through the respective Heads of Department.

Contribution to the EPF & ETF
Selected candidates will be required to contribute 10% to the Employees' Provident Fund (EPF), while the Authority will contribute 15%. In addition, a further 3% will be remitted to the Employees' Trust Fund (ETF).
Salary
The salary applicable to this position will be paid in accordance with the Department of Management Services Circular No. 01/2025, effective from 01.04.2025.
The decisions taken by the Authority regarding the filling of vacancies and recruitment shall be final.
