Texlan Center (Pvt) Ltd is one of the BOI approved companies operating in Sri Lanka for the last 38 years in the business of manufacturing hosiery products for export. We are under the Interloop Group which is one of the world's largest hosiery manufacturers with Hosiery being its core business. The Company offers a wide range of socks with high quality levels and in line with all types of customers including top brands, retailers, specialty stores etc. The company is looking for dynamic, hardworking and ambitious individuals for the following vacancy.
EXECUTIVE - STORES
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage goods receiving, issuing, ERP transactions and related documentation (GRN/MRN) to ensure accurate inventory records.
- Process GRNs, receiving transactions, supplier records, item codes, purchase requisitions (PRs) and material orders (MOs).
- Conduct cycle counts, stock audits, and variance analysis to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Prepare and submit regular stores and inventory reports to management.
- Coordinate with auditors, Finance and other departments to support smooth store operations and resolve issues.
- Ensure effective stock control, optimum storage utilization and overall inventory management.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives through Lean and 5S practices while ensuring compliance with EHS, company policies and buyer requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Stores, Warehouse or Inventory Management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of inventory control, stock audits, GRN/MRN processes, ERP systems and warehouse operations.
- Proficiency in MS Office Applications, particularly Excel.
- Familiarity with Lean, 5S, EHS requirements and compliance standards.
OFFICER - STORES
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process Goods Received Notes (GRNs), receiving transactions, Material Orders (MOs) and Purchase Requisitions (PRs) accurately and in a timely manner.
- Obtain the necessary approvals for GRNs and submit approved documentation to the Finance Department for further processing.
- Coordinate with stores and other departments to ensure smooth inventory, procurement, and material transaction processes.
- Support departmental operations, cross-functional activities and any special assignments or projects delegated by the Head of Department (HOD).
- Ensure compliance with company policies, buyer requirements, Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) standards, and actively support Lean and 5S initiatives within the department.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Passed the G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) Examination.
- Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field will be an added advantage.
- Experience in ERP operations, stores, inventory or supply chain functions will be an added advantage.
- Basic knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Office Applications, especially Microsoft Excel.
- Good analytical, communication and organizational skills.
