Job Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting internal audit functions and fieldwork activities.
- Collect, analyze, and organize audit evidence and support documentation.
- Support stock counts, outstation visits, and spot audits as required.
- Perform testing of transactions, internal controls, and related supporting documents.
- Maintain accurate audit records and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
- Support the Risk and Control team in carrying out compliance and operational reviews.
Job Requirements
- Final-year undergraduates following accounting or finance degree in a recognized university seeking an internship opportunity
- Students following CA Sri Lanka (Corporate Level) or pursuing related professional qualifications
- Thorough understanding of auditing, accounting, and internal control concepts
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
- Participation of monthly, quarterly and annual inventory verification
- Willingness to travel to outstations for field audits and assignments when required
