Pre-Sales Engineer - Inspection and Designing

Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in fire protection system design, MEP design, or a similar technical role.
- Knowledge of Fire Detection, Fire Protection, Sprinkler Systems, Suppression Systems and Gas Systems will be a distinct advantage.
- Familiarity with NFPA standards and local fire regulations is preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to prepare technical drawings, BOQs, and design calculations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Possession of a valid riding license will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site inspections and surveys for Fire Detection, Fire Protection, Fire Detection, Sprinkler, Suppression, and Gas Systems new and existing projects.
- Review client requirements, drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
- Prepare conceptual and detailed designs in accordance with applicable standards.
- Perform hydraulic calculations and system sizing where applicable.
- Prepare technical proposals, BOQs, cost estimates, and tender submissions.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, architects, and contractors during the pre-sales stage.
- Attend meetings and site visits when required.
- Ensure designs comply with NFPA, UL, FM, and local Fire Department requirements.
- Provide technical support to the sales and project teams during project execution.
