QUANTITY SURVEYOR - ESTIMATION & COMMERCIAL PROJECTS
Job Profile:
- Prepare accurate equipment quotations and project BOQs for commercial kitchen projects.
- Calculate landed costs including CIF, freight, duties, installation, and associated project costs.
- Consolidate multi-brand BOQs into professional client proposals.
- Coordinate with Category Specialists, Consultants, Finance, and Key Account Managers throughout the quotation process.
- Ensure quotation accuracy while protecting project gross margins.
- Deliver BOQs and quotations within agreed service levels.
- Maintain clean commercial data and support project costing and revenue reporting.
- Review project costs and recommend commercially viable solutions.
- Conduct value engineering reviews of kitchen equipment, BOQs, specifications, and project requirements to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising required performance, quality, hygiene standards, warranty, or operational functionality.
Requirement:
- Degree, Diploma, or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in quantity surveying, estimating, or commercial project costing.
- Experience preparing BOQs, cost estimates, and project quotations.
- Strong understanding of costing, margins, procurement, and commercial evaluation.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills; ERP experience will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Experience in commercial kitchen, construction, MEP, or engineering projects will be an added advantage.
- Ability to manage multiple quotations while meeting strict deadlines.
