TECHNICAL OFFICER - MEP
Responsibilities
- Must assist in the supervision and coordination of all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) installation, maintenance, and related technical activities at the College.
- Must ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with approved technical drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
- Should prepare and maintain accurate site records, including measurements, daily logs, and material usage.
- Should assist in conducting inspections and reporting on the quality and progress of work.
- Must liaise with contractors, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure smooth coordination.
- Should ensure proper maintenance and care of engineering tools and instruments used in site work.
Qualification & Experience
- Should have HNDE / NDCE / NCT – (MEP) or any related qualification accredited by the Institution of Engineers, Sri Lanka (IESL).
- Should have at least 5 years of relevant work experience in the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) field.
- Must be able to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
- Should have hands-on experience using basic surveying instruments and engineering tools.
