ASSISTANT MANAGER - RISK, CONTROLS AND COMPLIANCE

We invite an exceptional individual to join Ambeon Capital PLC as Assistant Manager - Risk, Controls and Compliance.

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic individual who is eager to embrace challenges and work closely with senior management to strengthen governance, enhance internal controls, and drive enterprise risk management practices across a leading diversified business group.

Core Responsibilities

  • Conducting risk and control assessments across group companies.
  • Review business processes and identify control gaps and improvement opportunities across group companies.
  • Monitor compliance with internal policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Support the implementation and monitoring of enterprise risk management initiatives.
  • Maintain risk registers and monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).
  • Prepare reports and presentations for management and Board Committees.
  • Coordinate with internal auditors to ensure timely completion of audits.
  • Coordinate with business units to ensure timely implementation of agreed action plans.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management or related discipline.
  • CIMA/CA/ACCA Passed Finalist or equivalent professional qualification.
  • 2–4 years of experience in Internal Audit or Risk Management, including at least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Candidates should be willing to travel and work flexible hours when required.
  • Strong analytical and report writing skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
