We are looking for a dynamic and result oriented individual to join our team as Solution Engineer/ Infrastructure Automation and AI attached to the Department of IT in SLIIT Malabe campus.
Key Duties & Responsibilities :
- Driving automation and AI initiatives across IT infrastructure operations by identifying manual processes and implementing intelligent, automated solutions.
- Designing, developing, and maintaining automated workflows and scripts to improve operational efficiency, service delivery, and system reliability.
- Administering and maintaining IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage systems, and cloud/on-premises environments to ensure high availability and performance.
- Monitoring system health, security, and performance, responding to incidents, conducting root-cause analysis, and implementing preventive measures.
- Managing identity and access controls, backups, disaster recovery processes, and infrastructure upgrades in accordance with organizational policies and industry best practices.
Minimum Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from a recognized University/ Institution.
- Minimum of five (05) years of work experience after obtaining the education qualification or a minimum of six (06) years of overall work experience in a relevant discipline including a minimum of one (01) year at an Assistant Manager, Supervisory/ Lead role experience.
- Hands-on scripting/ automation experience (PowerShell, Bash, Power Automate, or similar).
- Solid understanding of networking, cloud/ hybrid infrastructure and identity/ access management fundamentals.
