ENGLISH PROFICIENCY LECTURER
ABOUT US
Colombo Academy of Hospitality Management (Pvt) Ltd., in partnership with William Angliss Institute (RTO No. 3045), Australia, is the largest private specialised training center for Hospitality, Foods, Events, and Tourism in Sri Lanka. We are located within the SLIIT Main Campus in Malabe, Sri Lanka.
JOB PROFILE
- Plan lessons and create relevant material that will be suitable for all students who display various language strengths.
- Design creative lessons that are engaging and enhances the overall knowledge of the student.
- Monitor student development by maintaining records through written classroom reports.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to students to support their academic and personal development.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress within the given timelines.
- Associate all staff members and students in a professional and confidential manner.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Must hold a Diploma in English and/or English Language Teaching qualification from a recognized institute (Ex – CELTA).
- Must possess minimum two years of experience in English Language Teaching to preferably Young Adults/Adults.
- Have Excellent English Speaking and Writing Skills.
- Should be Creative and Open to Different Teaching Styles.
- Excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills.
- Ability to Work Collaboratively with Faculty and Staff from Diverse Backgrounds and Cultures.
- Proficient in the use of technology, online collaboration tools, and multimedia resources will be advantageous.
