IWS Logistics (Pvt) Ltd is a subsidiary of IWS Holdings (Pvt) Ltd which is a diversified conglomerate with interests in multiple industries. We are seeking qualified and experienced individual to join our team for the below mentioned position, located at Welisara.
YARD AND TRANSPORT SUPERVISOR
Duties and Responsibilities
- Overseeing day-to-day operations of the entire facility including the Company’s transport fleet.
- Monitor security personnel's movements via log books, finger print record on a daily basis.
- Supervise safety and operational readiness of the CCTV surveillance system, Alarm system, illumination system, and fire extinguishers and conduct regular inspections.
- Plan and coordinate vehicle scheduling to meet operational requirements.
- Monitor driver attendance, performance, punctuality, and discipline.
- Ensure all vehicles are properly maintained and serviced in accordance with preventive maintenance schedules.
- Monitor fuel consumption and maintain accurate fuel records.
- Ensure vehicle licenses, insurance, revenue licenses, and other statutory documents are current.
- Conduct regular inspections of vehicles to ensure roadworthiness, cleanliness, and compliance with Company standards.
Requirements
- 3-4 years’ work experience in a similar capacity.
- Flexibility to work on weekends and holidays.
- General knowledge of Container Yard Logistics is an essential requirement.
- Good knowledge of fleet management, vehicle maintenance, and transport regulations.
- Fair knowledge of English language – written and spoken.
- Hands on experience in working in a computerized environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with customers and other minor staff is an essential requirement.
