The Job
The Factory Manager is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining quality standards, and managing factory staff to meet organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and oversee daily production activities to meet targets and deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Lead, supervise, and motivate factory staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Monitor machinery, equipment, and facility maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Control production costs and manage budgets, materials, and labor efficiently.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and quality teams for smooth workflow.
- Analyze production data and prepare operational and performance reports.
- Resolve operational issues and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Ensure optimal inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in factory or production management.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
