Vacancy for the position of
Commercial Assistant
Singer (Sri Lanka) PLC operates with the vision to be the market leader in elevating and enriching lives in Sri Lanka. The position holder will be responsible for supporting spare parts procurement, coordinating suppliers and shipments, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring timely availability of parts for after-sales operations.
Job Profile
- Support day-to-day shipping and logistics operations.
- Coordinate spare parts orders and follow up with local & international suppliers.
- Monitor shipments and ensure timely delivery of parts.
- Prepare and maintain Purchase Orders and procurement documentation.
- Update procurement information in ERP/purchasing systems.
- Coordinate with internal departments and suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
Personal Profile
- Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field.
- Minimum 1 year experience in inventory/ Spare parts / warehouse operations are preferred.
- Basic knowledge of customs procedures and documentation.
- Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (ERP knowledge is an advantage).
- Proficient in verbal and written communication in English.
