Junior Service Advisor
GAC Sri Lanka, represented by Automobile Technologies (Pvt) Ltd, is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Junior Service Advisor to join our After-sales team. The ideal candidate will assist customers with their vehicle service requirements while coordinating closely with the workshop team to ensure a smooth and professional service experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet and assist customers with vehicle servicing and repair requirements.
- Understand customer concerns and accurately record vehicle complaints.
- Prepare service job cards and coordinate with technicians/workshop personnel.
- Provide customers with updates on vehicle repair and service progress.
- Prepare service estimates and explain recommended repairs to customers.
- Coordinate vehicle inspections, servicing and delivery arrangements.
- Follow up with customers regarding service requirements and additional repairs.
- Ensure customer vehicles are handled with proper care and attention.
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
- Support the Service Advisors and Aftersales team in achieving customer satisfaction and service targets.
REQUIREMENTS:
- G.C.E. (A/L) or equivalent qualification.
- Diploma/Certificate in Automobile Engineering, Motor Vehicle Technology or a related field will be an added advantage.
- Previous experience in an automotive service/workshop environment will be an advantage.
- Good understanding of basic vehicle systems and servicing.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to work effectively with technicians and other departments.
- Good computer literacy and documentation skills.
- Customer-oriented attitude with a positive and professional approach.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
