JOB ROLE
- Assist in financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis to support effective financial management and decision-making.
- Finalize periodic financial statements for the company.
- Prepare project-wise outstanding reports and coordinate with recovery officers to monitor and follow up on outstanding receivables.
- Monitor daily bank liquidity positions and ensure accurate reporting of cash positions to support effective Treasury management.
- Monitor financial performance and provide actionable financial insights to management to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Conduct project-wise and business-unit-wise financial analysis, including profitability and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies, procedures, and applicable accounting standards, including IFRS/LKAS.
- Liaise with the Internal Audit Department and coordinate responses to queries, Review and approve the supplier payment process to ensure accuracy, compliance, and proper financial controls.
- Prepare ad-hoc financial planning, forecasting, and analytical reports as and when required by management.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
- Professional Qualifications: Fully qualified or finalist status in CA Sri Lanka, CIMA (UK), or ACCA (UK).
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in management accounting, financial reporting, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software.
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
