Sous Chef – Chinese Cuisine

Responsibilities
- Assist the Executive Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations.
- Prepare and present authentic Chinese dishes to the highest standards.
- Supervise, train, and motivate junior kitchen staff.
- Ensure food quality, consistency, hygiene, and safety standards are maintained.
- Contribute to menu planning, recipe development, and culinary innovation.
- Monitor inventory levels and support food cost control initiatives.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Culinary Arts or an equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the same capacity in a star-class hotel.
- Strong expertise in Chinese cuisine and cooking techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure with attention to detail.
- Positive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
