Join Korean SPA Packaging (Pvt) Limited, a leading Corrugated & Polythene Manufacturing company. As an Officer - Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS), you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, promoting health and safety practices, and fostering a culture of safety consciousness across our facilities. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring EHS programs to mitigate risks and enhance workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive EHS programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify hazards, assess risks, and implement effective controls and corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS considerations into operational processes, including production, maintenance, and engineering activities.
  • Provide guidance and training to employees on EHS protocols, emergency response procedures, and safe work practices.
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses; analyze root causes; and develop preventive measures to enhance workplace safety.
  • Monitor environmental performance metrics, such as waste reduction and energy efficiency, and implement initiatives to minimize environmental impact.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to EHS activities, including permits, inspections, and training records.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CSP, CIH, CHMM) preferred.
  • Proven experience in EHS management within a manufacturing or industrial setting, preferably in the packaging industry.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental regulations (e.g., EPA, OSHA), safety standards, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify risks, propose solutions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
