JOB PROFILE
- The Assistant Manager Procurement is responsible for managing and optimizing the procurement processes, including supplier selection and management based on quality, cost, reliability, and delivery performance.
- Key duties include negotiating contracts, managing the procurement budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities, ensuring compliance with quality standards, managing inventory levels, assessing supplier risks, and continuously improving procurement processes.
- The role requires staying updated with industry best practices and fostering collaboration within the team and with other departments.
- Key performance indicators include zero loss of sales due to material unavailability, achieving cost savings versus budget, maintaining inventory cover as per targets, achieving zero business waste, and conducting supplier evaluations based on performance and reliability.
PERSONAL PROFILE
- Bachelor's degree or a Professional certification in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management
- Effective communication and negotiation skills at all levels
- Excellent relationship-building and influencing skills
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to meet challenging deadlines and deliver outstanding service Strong team player mentality
