EXECUTIVE EVENT SALES (WEDDINGS)
We have an exciting opportunity for an Executive, Event Sales (Weddings) to join Cinnamon Life, the much anticipated 1 billion USD project, opening in late 2024. Cinnamon Life is a part of Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts, Sri Lanka's largest Hotel owner with a portfolio of 15 Hotels and Resorts in Sri Lanka and the Maldives. It is a member of John Keells Holdings PLC, one of the largest listed conglomerates in Sri Lanka.
Reporting to the Manager, Event Sales, you will play a crucial role in the wedding segment of the events sales team. In this role, you will actively seek and identify potential wedding clients, conduct detailed sales presentations, and build personalized relationships with clients to assist them select their ideal wedding venue out of versatile venue options within Cinnamon Life. You will develop customized wedding proposals, negotiate contracts, and collaborate closely with various departments and external vendors to ensure seamless wedding planning and execution. Key responsibilities include achieving the wedding revenue budgets, maximizing revenue through upselling, and overseeing the on-site coordination of wedding events. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to handle issues promptly are essential for maintaining high levels of client satisfaction. You will also work with our marketing team to create promotional materials and represent Cinnamon Life at industry events.
