Assistant General Manager (IT Application Support) Kohuwala (Head Office)
Job Responsibilities
- User Support: Handle banking application related issues reported by end users in carrying out their day-to-day operations.
- Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with system vendor in resolving system issues efficiently.
- Develop reports utilizing databases to fulfill CBSL reporting requirements.
- SQL and Program development capability to support company requirements in obtaining ad-hoc reports for MIS and Audit activities etc.
- Responsible for smooth operations of the banking system.
- Identify system change requirements and communicated to senior officers, vendors to get these changes approved and implemented.
- Ability to work independently on given assignments with minimum supervision.
Key Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in IT specialized in software development / or Higher Diploma in Information Technology from a recognized institution.
- Proven experience of at least 5 years working in e-Financials system of Scienter as an end user or Application Support person.
- Sound knowledge in business operations of a finance company.
- Having working experience in the Banking industry or Finance Company is essential. Banking qualifications in certificate level or Diploma level is an added advantage.
- Strong communication skills and organizational skills.
