Job Description
EAM Maliban Textiles Pvt Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sample Room Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all operations in the sample room, ensuring the timely and accurate creation of samples that meet our quality standards and client specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise the sample room staff, including pattern makers, tailors, and assistants.
- Oversee the development of samples from initial design through final approval.
- Collaborate with the design, production, and quality control teams to ensure samples meet client requirements.
- Ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of samples.
- Train and mentor sample room staff to enhance skills and productivity. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the sample creation process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Textile Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sample room management within the textile or garment industry.
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, and textile properties.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in using design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, CAD) and MS Office.
