ASSISTANT MANAGER PRODUCTION
RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Liaise with other managers to formulate objectives and understand operation requirements
- Estimate costs and prepare operation budgets
- Arrange production workflow schedules to meet specifications and deadlines
- Ensure maximum efficient utilization of machinery, equipment and manpower resources
- Supervise and evaluate performance of production personnel (Supervisors, workers etc.)
- Identify bottlenecks in the work flow and provide solutions
- Advice on machinery and equipment purchasing to meet current and future demand
- Ensure output meets quality standards
- Enforce health and safety precautions and facilitate the workforce
- Provide operation performance and analysis reports to management as and when required
REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS
- Professional qualification in the printing and packaging industry or manufacturing industry
- Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing industry (Including 2 years of managerial role)
- Good knowledge in printing, packaging and production management
- Train and develop subordinates
- Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations
- Experience in reporting on key production metrics and analysis
- Proficient in MIS / ERP software
- Good communication ability
- Excellent organizational and leaderships skills
