ESTIMATION ENGINEER
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate in bid initiation, pre-bid meetings, and timely tender submissions with accuracy.
- Conduct site visits to assess technical and cost-related project requirements.
- Analyze project specifications, construction drawings, BOQs, and other documents to prepare accurate cost, material, and labor estimates.
- Negotiate with suppliers and clients to ensure cost-effective procurement and competitive pricing.
- Evaluate materials for tendering processes to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
- Assist in the design process by providing technical insights and cost considerations.
- Maintain detailed records of customer inputs, quotations, and project-related correspondence.
- Organize and manage tender files in both hard and soft copies for easy access and reference.
- Ensure all estimation activities comply with company standards and regulatory requirements while preparing necessary reports.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent (HNDE, NDT, NDES in Electrical Engineering).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in design and estimation within the electrical engineering field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
