DEMAND PLANNING MANAGER
(LEAD STRATEGIC FORECASTING IN A FAST-PACED APPAREL ENVIRONMENT)

At SAS Creative Sri Lanka, we are looking for an experienced Demand Planning Manager to lead our forecasting function and play a critical role in aligning supply and demand across our global operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute accurate demand forecasts based on historical data, market insights, and seasonal patterns.
- Work closely with Sales, Production, and Account Management to align forecasts with operational capabilities.
- Identify forecast variances and proactively recommend corrective actions to minimize stockouts and overstock situations.
- Implement forecasting tools and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.
- Mentor junior analysts and interns, building forecasting capabilities within the team.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Physical Science or Supply Chain Management (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or inventory management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Excel and forecasting tools.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience in the apparel industry or working with international markets is a strong advantage.
- Passion for continuous improvement, automation, and using data to drive business outcomes.
