Head of Planning
In this strategic leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire planning process, by leading the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process across Rocell Bathware sector by integrating cross-functional teams (sales, marketing demand planning, supply planning, production planning, and finance) to ensure bathware manufacturing operations run efficiently, meeting customer service targets, and align with the company’s strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the monthly S&OP cycle, including demand review, activity planning review, Pre-S&OP and Board S&OP meetings, leading the S&OP champions team to implement the S&OP process in full to meet business objectives.
- Drive the planning team to achieve the set functional KPIs in order to provide an enhanced customer service and achieve cost efficiencies.
- Encourage the functional team to bring saving initiatives to achieve the cost efficiencies to drive margins.
- Act as the central point of contact between sales, marketing, production, procurement, and logistics teams.
- Analyze market trends, product lifecycles, competitor and customer behaviour to anticipate changes in collaboration with the sales, marketing and finance team to take proactive actions through scenario planning.
- Monitor key planning metrics such as inventory levels, service levels, and forecast accuracy.
- Build strong relationships across departments to foster collaboration and transparency.
- Provide decision-making support through data-driven insights and scenario modelling.
- Champion the use of advanced planning tools, ERP systems, and dashboards for real-time visibility.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in production/supply chain planning, preferably in manufacturing.
- Proven leadership in S&OP process implementation and optimization.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of manufacturing KPIs.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle), Excel, and BI tools.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and decision-making skills.
- Familiarity with bathware or ceramic industry trends is a strong plus.
