Body and Paint Senior Supervisor
Location: Ja Ela
The person will be responsible for supervising all activities related to the auto paint workshop, ensuring high-quality painting of automotive components. This role involves managing a team of painters, overseeing the painting process, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
Primary Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the auto paint workshop team.
- Ensure all painting processes comply with industry standards and company quality requirements.
- Oversee the preparation, priming, painting, and finishing of automotive components.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure the quality of paint applications and adherence to specifications.
- Train and mentor workshop staff on proper painting techniques and safety procedures.
- Manage inventory of paint materials and supplies, ensuring timely reordering and proper storage.
- Maintain detailed records of paint usage, labor, and production outputs.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of projects.
Candidate Profile
- Male, age below 45 years
- 5 years of experience as an Auto Paint Supervisor or similar role in a franchise workshop environment
- In-depth knowledge of automotive paint application techniques, materials, paint mixing and equipment
- Higher education/technical training in the respective area is definite advantage
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in using painting tools and equipment
