JUNIOR COORDINATOR - DELIVERY OPERATIONS (NEGOMBO)
American Premium Water, the pioneer in Sri Lanka's bottled water industry & a market leader in the FMCG sector in Sri Lanka with a staff strength of over 1200, with an extended reach across Logistics & SCM, Construction, Polymer Packaging sectors within Sri Lanka as well as other Asian markets, is looking for a Delivery Operations Coordinator for immediate employment. The ideal candidate should be dynamic, highly motivated, and results oriented.
Responsibilities
- Scheduling and tracking daily water deliveries to ensure timely arrivals
- Coordinating with drivers to plan and optimize delivery routes
- Monitoring delivery progress and providing real-time updates to teams and customers
- Preparing and processing essential logistics documents with accuracy
- Liaising with the warehouse team to check stock levels and plan ahead
- Verifying delivery accuracy and resolving discrepancies
- Updating order and delivery statuses in our system for efficient tracking
- Communicating proactively with customers regarding delivery timings and resolving basic queries
- Generating performance reports (daily/weekly) for management
- Tracking key KPIs such as on-time delivery rates to support service improvements
Requirements
- Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transport Management, or a related field
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
- Proficiency in MS Office tools, especially Excel and Word
- Great attention to detail and a commitment to meeting deadlines
- A team-player mindset with the ability to work independently
- A proactive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn and grow
