RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare detailed cost estimates (BOQ) for engineering works.
- Assist in the development of tender and project budgets.
- Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Administer contracts, ensuring all parties adhere to terms and conditions.
- Perform accurate quantity take-offs using drawings and specifications.
- Prepare purchase orders, service orders and follow up until received by the supplier.
- Monitor project expenditures and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Following up on the contractor payment.
- Liaise with site managers, engineers, and other construction professionals.
- Conduct site visits to ensure work aligns with budget and specification.
- Ensure compliance with building regulations, legal requirements and health & safety standards.
- Maintain organized records of project documentation.
PROFILE
- NVQ Level 4 or above in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 1 year of experience.
- Proficient in industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Project).
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
