Manager- Commercial Coordinator

Dimension of the role:

  • Aligning to Independent Retailer strategy with company objectives.
  • Work in collaboration with the relevant internal teams such as Buyers, Demand Planners & Master Data teams within the Commercial team, and also with the other Departments within the company.
  • Coordinates with relevant teams in the Commercial Departments on all aspects related to the operation of IR, including Order fulfilling, finalizing GP’s, promotions, rebates and investments.
  • Optimize and grow IR Category sales as per the company targets.
  • Ensure the highest fill rates are made for the IR orders.
  • Ensure stakeholders are dealt with ethical and fair-trade practices.
  • Advice and guide retail staff on best practices in storage and merchandising.
  • Understand consumer behavioral trends.
  • Collecting and Analyzing product and Category sales trends on a daily, weekly, Monthly and yearly basis to understand the customer trends and markets and Range Gap analysis.
  • Analyzing Gross and Net Profits, continuously monitoring the benefits generated for IR and any room for improvements.
  • Sales growth trends monitored against the budgets.
  • Monitoring Fill rates coordinating with Distribution Centre and Demand Planners/ Suppliers and reporting daily.
  • Coordinating on New product listing/ New Pack Size opportunities with the Buyers aligning to the market trends.
  • Coordinating on continuous Promo Execution through Products Offers, Campaigns from Buyers for IR in different possible aspects.
  • Coordinating on the Other Income generated by the Buyers for IR, aligning to the targets.
  • Participating in periodic IR supplier performance reviews with the buyers.
  • Managing the IR Coordination team, to achieve the company timelines.
  • Optimize and Growing IR Business GP targets.
  • Assist in developing and adhere to SOP’s.
  • Competitor surveys on range and price.
  • Ensure ethical dealings and trade with all suppliers/partners.
  • Differentiating range in comparison to competitors.

Minimum requirements:

  • Degree equivalent in Procurement or Business Management is preferred.
  • Good IT knowledge (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PPT).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Retail Procurement or similar capacity.
  • Minimum of 2 years in a Manager position.
  • Experience in Data analyzing, Negotiating and Procurement.
  • Working knowledge in both oral and written to compliment the effectiveness of the job role.
