We’re currently seeking an experienced Microsoft Systems Administrator to join our Colombo team in supporting a long-standing healthcare client. In this hands-on role, you'll manage a hybrid IT environment built on the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, playing a vital part in maintaining secure, compliant systems that support high-quality patient care. Working Australian business hours, you’ll be part of a collaborative team that values meaningful work, long-term relationships, and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Windows Server environments (2012–2025), including patching and performance
  • Administer Azure AD: user lifecycle, Conditional Access, MFA
  • Deploy and manage Microsoft Intune: Autopilot, compliance, endpoint security
  • Manage the full Microsoft 365 environment, ensuring effective administration of Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and compliance capabilities
  • Deliver application support for core platforms used by the client, including critical clinical and business systems essential to daily operations
  • Manage SharePoint Online, including site structure, access control, issue resolution, and adherence to governance and compliance standards
  • Contribute to system migrations, upgrades, and cloud deployments
  • Provide Tier 2/3 technical support and maintain clear documentation
  • Support Cisco Meraki infrastructure

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3–5 years’ experience in Microsoft systems administration in hybrid environments
  • Deep understanding of identity, endpoint, and cloud service management (Azure AD, Intune, Microsoft 365)
  • Strong capability in SharePoint Online configuration, governance, and compliance alignment
  • Experience supporting VMware ESXi and Cisco Meraki infrastructure
  • Proficient in scripting and automation using PowerShell
  • Familiarity with workflow automation (e.g. Power Automate) and metadata best practices
  • Clear communicator with experience working in distributed or remote teams
