Position: Guest Relations Executive

We are seeking a warm, articulate, and service-driven Guest Relations Executive to join our Front Office team. The ideal candidate is someone who genuinely enjoys hosting, connects effortlessly with people, and brings positive energy and professionalism to every guest interaction. This role sits at the heart of the guest experience—from arrival to departure—and requires exceptional attention to detail, poise, and heartfelt hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Extend a gracious and professional welcome to all guests upon arrival.
  • Ensure smooth, efficient check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Provide personalized assistance and respond to guest inquiries with discretion and care.
  • Coordinate seamlessly with all departments to meet guest expectations and special requests.
  • Build meaningful and professional relationships with guests to inspire repeat visits and glowing reviews.
  • Confidently upsell hotel services and facilities where appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of bookings, payments, and guest profiles.
  • Assist in planning and promoting curated guest excursions around Nuwara Eliya.
  • Handle guest feedback with professionalism and resolve concerns promptly and courteously.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a similar capacity at a luxury or boutique hotel is essential, along with relevant educational qualifications.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
  • Naturally hospitable, detail-oriented, and confident in high-touch, guest-facing interactions.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills; calm, composed, and solution-oriented under pressure.
  • Proficient in hotel PMS systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to be based in Nuwara Eliya and thrive in a boutique hospitality setting.
