Quality Supervisor
Location – Balangoda
We are looking for a dedicated and committed individual who is willing to take the challenge. The ideal candidate should possess the following.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage quality assurance activities on the production floor.
- Monitor and enforce adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to quality control.
- Ensure all garments meet the required buyer/customer specifications and internal quality standards.
- Collaborate with production and QA teams to resolve quality issues in real-time.
- Train and guide quality checkers and line inspectors to maintain consistent quality levels.
- Support in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for quality defects.
- Maintain proper documentation and reports related to in-line and final inspections.
- Assist in implementing continuous improvement initiatives in the quality process.
Individual Profile
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a quality-related role within the woven garment manufacturing industry.
- Age below 35 years.
- Degree/Diploma in Textile/Apparel Production, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with buyer quality standards and inspection protocols.
- Exposure to lean manufacturing practices and problem-solving tools will be an added advantage.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Capable of leading a team and making timely, well-informed decisions in a high-pressure environment.
