Assistant Manager - Corporate Planning

We are seeking individuals for our reputed client company in the Maritime and Logistics sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth financial due diligence and market analysis on prospective projects. Evaluate financial statements, market data, and strategic factors to provide investment recommendations.
  • Prepare financial documentation including bank applications, information memoranda, and prospectuses for potential and existing investors.
  • Formulate investment policies aligned with the company's strategic objectives. Develop robust investment criteria to assess new projects and ensure consistent decision-making.
  • Work closely with Strategic Business Units (SBUs) to build comprehensive financial and analytical models. Provide actionable insights to senior management to support new business development initiatives.
  • Lead the budgeting process across all companies within the group. Analyze company accounts and financial forecasts to advise on optimal investment positioning.

Requirements:

  • Successful completion of a professional qualification such as CIMA, ACCA, or CA, or a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Engineering.
  • Master's degree or part qualification in CFA is a distinct advantage.
  • 4-5 years of experience in a similar role with a strong focus on investment appraisals and feasibility studies.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office packages and familiarity with AI tools.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.
  • Proven research, analysis, evaluation, and presentation skills.
