HR MANAGER
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of HR strategies aligned with overall business goals.
- Manage the full HR lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and offboarding.
- Oversee payroll, attendance systems, employee benefits, and HRIS management.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
- Build a strong talent pipeline through proactive manpower planning and succession planning.
- Coordinate training and development initiatives to foster employee growth and skill enhancement.
- Drive employee engagement, recognition, and wellness programs.
- Act as a trusted advisor to management on all HR matters.
- Prepare HR reports, board papers, and presentations for senior management.
- Handle disciplinary matters, grievances, and employee conflict resolution.
- Support organizational change and culture-building initiatives.
- Maintain accurate HR documentation and employee records.
Qualifications and Experience
- Chartered Qualification in HRM at CIPM or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
- Associate Membership of CIPM will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in HR, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- In-depth knowledge of Sri Lankan labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office applications.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Creativity and an eye for detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
