PRODUCTION EXECUTIVE
LOCATION: EMBILIPITIYA
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee the daily production operations, ensuring manufacturing processes are running efficiently and effectively.
- Collaborate with the Production Manager & Factory Manager to plan, schedule, daily production.
- Monitor production quality to ensure finished products to meet company and industry standards.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase production efficiency and reduce waste.
- Manage the allocation of resources to ensure production goals are met.
- Lead, train, and supervise production staff, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot any production issues and take corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of products.
- Track and report key production metrics (e.g., output, downtime, waste) to senior management and suggest areas for improvement.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in the production facility.
REQUIREMENT:
- Bachelor's Degree in physical science, mechanical Engineering, Material Science or equivalent in a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a similar capacity.
- Experience in ceramic or tool manufacturing industries would be an added advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft office suite and production management related software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work on a shift basis and additional hours to fulfill deadlines when require.
