Vacancy for Production Engineer
Dravima Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, a subsidiary of a Netherlands-based parent company, is a fast-growing manufacturing firm specializing in high-precision components for the global tyre industry. Our factory, located in Wagawatta BOI Park, Horana, is equipped with advanced technology and a skilled workforce focused on delivering excellence and innovation. We are seeking a passionate, driven, and detail-oriented Production Engineer to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and oversee the manufacturing process to ensure smooth production flow.
- Monitor machinery and equipment to ensure efficiency and safety.
- Troubleshoot issues in the production line and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with quality assurance and R&D teams to ensure product quality and innovation.
- Analyse production data to identify trends, optimize processes, and reduce costs.
- Maintain production documentation, SOPs, and ensure adherence to ISO standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering.
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment (fresh graduates with strong internship experience may apply).
- Strong knowledge of production planning, lean manufacturing, and process improvement.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD/SolidWorks and ERP systems is a plus.
