SENIOR QA AUTOMATION ENGINEER
SoftOne is a leading Nordic provider of cloud-based ERP and HR software, serving industries like construction, electrical, plumbing, hospitality, accounting, and manufacturing. We offer modular solutions that can be tailored to customer needs and provide end-to-end services including system development, support, consulting, and payroll outsourcing.
The Role
- Hired for the Colombo office based in Sri Lanka
- The ideal Candidate is a self-motivated, multi-tasker, and demonstrated team player.
- A keen eye for detail and analysis.
- 4+ year(s) experience in Software Engineering/Automation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or related field).
- Strong knowledge in C# and Typescript.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in test automation within a software development organization.
- Strong knowledge of software testing processes, practices and test design techniques.
- Ability to think creatively and generate and prioritize test cases.
- Knowledge of API testing, automated UI testing, Selenium, WebDriver, regression testing & SQL.
- A thorough familiarity with agile development methodologies, including Scrum.
- Experience in UI test automation using tools such as Selenium and Playwright.
- Solid practical understanding of Agile Software Testing and Software Engineering principles.
- Good communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with DevOps, Playwright.
- Knowledge in JavaScript.
