Job Profile

To provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of the executive office. The role requires a high level of discretion, professionalism, and organizational capability to assist in daily operations, communications, and coordination of activities involving multiple departments and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level administrative and secretarial support to the COO.
  • Report writing and preparation of presentations.
  • Organize, schedule, and follow up on internal and external meetings, reviews, and visits.
  • Prepare agendas, minutes, and relevant documents for meetings.
  • Should possess good communication skills with proficiency in English and Sinhala and fluency in Tamil would be an added advantage.
  • Act as a communication bridge between the COO and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Track and monitor assigned tasks and ensure timely follow-ups.
  • Support the COO in handling correspondence, reports, and confidential information.
  • Perform general administrative duties as required.

Eligibility

  • Successfully completed a Bachelor’s degree, diploma, or higher qualification in Business Administration, Secretarial Studies, or a related field from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar capacity, preferably in the financial sector.
  • Excellent command of English and Sinhala (written and spoken).
  • Stronger interpersonal skills with a professional and discreet approach.
  • High proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to multitask, work independently, and maintain confidentiality.
